NYS LBA and BCBA® Qualifying
A master’s degree in Behavioral Science and Human Services meets the coursework requirements for certification as a behavior analyst (BCBA ®). Students who are interested in becoming a BCBA ® and are also interested in licensure in NY should apply for the MS in Applied Behavior Analysis.
A behavior analyst implements and evaluates environmental modifications, and arranges stimuli and consequences, to produce socially significant improvements in human behavior using direct observation, measurement, and functional analysis of the relationship between environment and behavior.
