Interior Design is an exciting field, with multifaceted opportunities in both the business and private sectors serving clients who seek skilled help in making the best use of their space. You’ll work with contractors, architects, kitchen and bath designers, and home and business owners, whether as part of a team or freelancing on your own.

A well-rounded education involves an understanding of the many factors that come into play, such as architecture, plumbing, and lighting. With TTI Careers, students receive 240 hours of face-to-face instruction by licensed teachers.

You will learn about textiles and furniture, as well as computer design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro and Revit to learn the functional and aesthetic design requirements in space planning. The curriculum focuses on residential projects, and will cover the advanced drawing and drafting skills needed. You’ll also learn subjects like design theory, understanding building and construction materials, and business development.

At the end of this intensive course, you will develop your own professional portfolio to showcase your design and technical skills through assigned projects. You’ll also be trained to interact professionally with clients and employers. By the time you’re through, you’ll be able to enter the workforce with poise and confidence, ready to work your magic on interiors everywhere.

Classes Held Live Online

Teacher-student interaction is expected and required. Classes are recorded for your convenience.

Weekly One-on-one With Instructors

Students will be able to meet privately with teachers on a weekly basis for review.

Use Towards a Degree!

With TTI Careers’ Interior Decorating and Design course, you can earn up to 15 college credits through credit-by-exam, at no extra cost! These credits can be applied towards your bachelor’s degree.

Weekly Schedule:

First Term
Sunday mornings 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Monday & Wednesday: 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm

Program Tuition:

$7,800

Tuition is payable in two installments, due on the first day of each semester. Does not include laptop, software and course materials. $100 registration fee applies.

Prior Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED*
*If you don’t have a high school diploma, you may take an “Ability-to-Benefit” test at a TTI testing center. Please mention this to Admissions staff upon registration so that we may make arrangements for the test within the necessary time frame.

For Women

TTI Careers programs are approved by the New Jersey Department of Education.

Interior designers work in a range of areas, including construction firms and design agencies as residential or commercial space planners, AutoCAD technicians, sales/showroom consultants or a kitchen and bath planners.

At entry level, they can begin earning an average starting salary of as much as a typical office position. Depending on the quality of their work and networking ability, a talented, motivated designer can earn over $100,000, especially when freelancing and opening her own business. Designers can find stable work within larger firms or as private residential planners.

Course Instructors

Zisi Naimark

Zisi Naimark holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the New York School of Interior Design. She spent close to a decade working for high-end interior design firms, including Fox Nahem Associates and Marcia Tucker Interiors. She has been teaching at TTI since 2017, works with private clients on interior design projects, and has published over 100 interior design articles and projects.

Michal Wachspress

Michal Wachspress is an interior designer who graduated with a master’s degree in fine arts with honors from the New York School of Interior Design. With a strong foundation in design principles, she works on a freelance basis in lighting design, furniture design, and general interior design for designers in New York and Israel. Michal brings her expertise to TTI as a dedicated instructor, sharing her passion for interior design with her students.

Anastasia Zheleznaya

Anastasia Zheleznaya, known as Mrs. Zhe to her students, has a degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY, and founded AZR Design group. She has spent a number of years in a leading role on the team responsible for prestigious landmark restoration projects, including the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, the Knickerbocker, the Viceroy, the Peninsula Hotel, and other celebrated spaces.
