Digital Fashion Designers are creative and technically skilled professionals who specialize in designing digital flats of fashion patterns. They play a key role in garment construction, which includes sketching, pattern-making, garment fitting, and developing final production-ready patterns.

In this course, you will build your digital fashion skills by exploring the foundations of fashion, design, and costume. You’ll gain practical knowledge in clothing construction, production costs and budgeting, market analysis, trend forecasting, textiles, color theory, draping, fashion sketching, technical drawing, and creating presentation boards. Emphasis will be placed on flat pattern-making, grading, and sewing techniques.

You’ll also learn how to develop cohesive collections and dive into branding and marketing strategies to prepare for a successful entry into the fashion industry. Through hands-on projects, you will apply your learning to create multiple digital flats and patterns.

Additionally, you’ll become proficient in Clo3D and Adobe Suite to support your design work. By the end of the course, you’ll have created a professional portfolio showcasing a range of original flats, highlighting your technical skills and personal design style. This portfolio will serve as a powerful tool when presenting your work to potential employers or collaborators in the field.
