A bachelor’s degree is a smart choice for anyone interested in career and educational advancement. The liberal arts degree is the most versatile, and therefore the most popular option for students of all ages and stages. This degree imparts a broad foundation of information that develops writing, communication and analytical skills, opening doors to many varied employment opportunities.

The liberal arts degree specializes in meeting the needs of busy students with its flexibility, convenience, affordability, and fast pace towards graduation. Our uncompromising devotion to the unique values of our clientele have enabled us to create a successful learning program that is ideal for the Orthodox student.

The Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts is typically self-paced but TTI offers Women’s Track and Men’s Accelerated for those who wish to complete this degree with a group.

Additionally, students have the option to major in one discipline within the Liberal Studies program. The options include:

  • Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts / Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts
  • Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts (Professional and Technical Writing)
  • Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences
  • Bachelor of Science in Psychology
  • Bachelor of Science in History
  • Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences
  • Bachelor’s of Science in Social Sciences (Human Services)

Upon completion of the bachelor’s degree, including prerequisites when necessary, one can enter a variety of graduate programs in addition to entering the workforce in many entry level positions.

Earn your Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts in 8 steps:

Call admissions and sign up with TTI. Membership to TTI gives students access to academic advisement and all student services.

Get started by speaking with an Academic Advisor (either in person or on the phone, based on your location) to plan your 120-credit degree plan. Earn 60 credits in history, humanities, math, natural sciences, social sciences, and written English and earn 60 credits in electives. Get previous credit evaluated and transferred to Excelsior College (including Seminary and Yeshiva learning) and shorten the time needed to complete your degree.

Your advisor will help you become familiar with the many student services offered at TTI including our unique system of exams, TTI's lending library and testing locations.

Now it's time to start taking exams. Take as many as you want at your own speed. TTI has testing sites located in 16 locations worldwide. For students who do not live close to a testing site, TTI has private proctors located all over the world.

Follow your degree plan and keep taking exams or courses until you complete your degree.

Remember to speak with your advisor on a regular basis. We suggest at least once a month. Your advisor is available 6 days a week either by phone or e-mail.

Program Features:

  • Provides students with the knowledge, skills and competencies to engage in critical and analytical thinking in a broad array of disciplines (e.g., humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, communication).
  • Enables graduates to engage in effective problem solving in a variety of occupational situations because of the broad foundation and interdisciplinary coursework required for this degree.
  • Provides excellent preparation for graduate studies and careers in an extensive range of disciplines (e.g., law, business, fine arts, education, etc.).
  • Offers options for students interested in careers in the natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, communication, and writing.

Prior Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED prior to enrollment at Excelsior College
