A behavior analyst implements and evaluates environmental modifications, and arranges stimuli and consequences, to produce socially significant improvements in human behavior using direct observation, measurement, and functional analysis of the relationship between environment and behavior.
Our program will provide comprehensive training in Applied Behavior Analysis, an intervention approach commonly used with individuals with autism spectrum or related disorders. ABA is a broad field and states have different scope restrictions. Understanding that our ABA students might not remain in NYS, this class will present the broad scope of application of ABA. NYS LBAs are restricted to practice only with individuals with Autism or related disorders. Behavior analysts in other states and countries do not have this limitation.
This master’s program is best for NYS students who have completed an accredited bachelor’s degree and want to specialize in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). If you are not from New York but you have a BA and would like to become a BCBA, you can earn an LBA and receive your Master’s in Behavior Analysis.
TTI offers this program through its partnership with Daemen College. Any credit or degrees described here are offered through our partner institution. TTI is not a college or university and does not offer credit bearing courses or degrees in New York State.
