Excelsior College has partnered with TTI to offer seminary students a Study Abroad Program. By signing up for ESAP you will earn up to 30 credits (1/4 of your Bachelor’s degree!) after successful completion of the seminary year. Participants in this innovative program may be eligible to receive financial aid that would not be obtainable by direct enrollment in seminary alone.
In the senior year of high school, the prospect of continuing one’s Jewish education in seminary is foremost in the minds of many young women. Exploring the various options available to them, many students discover that financial issues may prevent them from attaining what they want most: the opportunity to spend their seminary year learning abroad. Many students also seek to maximize their year of learning abroad by getting an early start towards a college degree.
By signing up for the Excelsior Study Abroad Program through TTI, you can earn up to 30 credits just by successfully completing your seminary year! As a student enrolled in Excelsior College, you will have already finished ¼ of your Bachelor’s degree after successful completion of seminary!
As an added benefit, even if you don’t qualify for financial aid, you may be eligible for the American Opportunity Tax Credit, up to $2,500 for each calendar year.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Prospective students and their parents will meet with a TTI academic advisor. This advisor will guide you through the financial aid paperwork and help you with Excelsior College’s application process.
Once enrolled, your advisor will work with you to develop a college program to fit your goals, budget and time frame, and complete your degree through Excelsior College. From registration to graduation, your advisors will do everything possible to ensure that your college experience is an enjoyable and rewarding one.
